RACK EM'
Under-rated Racks & Sacks beat the favorite, Charm City Choads defended the title, and B Rob sank the Tanks
Baltimore - Even after Racks & Sacks beat Cummoniwannalayya convincingly in the final week of the regular season to fininsh (6-0-2), and cruising through the first 2 rounds of the playoffs, you could count on one hand the number of people, other than themselves, who thought they had a chance against Return of the Loco Logo in the Hardcore Final. But they did just what they had done all season, they beat the favorite behind the poised and unaffected leadership of their QB Branden Carmody on offense and the ball-happy play of Patrick Howley on defense.
Mediumcore's Charm City Choads won their 2nd straight spring title by overcoming tough competition from West Cannan Coyotes, ADY and Habitual Linesteppers. Leif Conradi and The Choads had the stamina it takes to win 4 games in 1 day and played solid on both sides of the ball. Hopefully they can put it together again next season and give the likes of Racks & Sacks and Loco Logo a run for their money.
Softcore's B Rob outlasted post-season favorites Frank's Tanks earning themselves a promotion to Medium-sized fun in the Fall. Tony Lee made a strategic move by throwing the game in the second round to squelch rumors of Bling it On finally moving up to a tougher division. Let's see if that is enough to convince the league officials to let them stay where they are.
